Two color transfer, green and brown, with red overglaze color.  Small firing line in area where the base meets the body (does not go through, the body is water tight. The glaze is a little thin along the edges, but not chipped. Really a nice, clean example in very good condition.  7 7/8" to top of handle.

Very pretty Wild Rose pattern large jug.
It has some flaws, but remains very pretty and strong. The glaze on the pattern (blue) part is very dull and rough (kiln flaw). There are no chips, tight hairline in body, but very solid. Please see all photos. 9 3/4" tall.  c1850.
